“Here we are“…, Those were the very first words I typed and the title of my first blog post when I launched my blog exactly 5 years ago today. As I go back and re-read my first post, it just makes me so happy because this blog, connecting with you all and the creative journey has been such a great joy for me. I can’t tell you how much fun it’s been and how I appreciate you following along and your encouragement! 🙂
This last week was the first time that I checked to see what posts were the all-time most popular projects (so fun to look back!!). I always check yearly but I have never looked at the last 5 years. I knew what #1 would be but the rest were a big surprise to me and such a mixed bag!
So today, I thought I would celebrate 5 years of blogging by doing with I love to do most here; share and encourage you all to be creative. I’m going to do that by sharing the top ten most popular projects on The Creativity Exchange in the last 5 years. I hope there is something in this “mixed bag” that you haven’t seen before and it encourages and inspires you in some way.
So let’s just jump right in to the #1 all-time most popular post on The Creativity Exchange (by a landslide! Over 2 million visits)………cheesy drumroll……..

Thank you again so very much for following along and I am so excited about the future. I’m going to keep doing what I have been doing here on the blog and I would love to know what you would love to see. I haven’t shared much here on the blog yet but very soon, I hope to expand my art work to my online shop on the blog. If you’re curious, you can see my work over the last two years and more of my color palettes on my Instagram feed here.
As always friends, thank you so much for stopping by!

It’s nice to see a recap of previous posts and think I’ve pinned most of them. Difficult to say which one is my favorite because they all are great but if I could have any one of them I’d take the craft office room in a heart beat. Love your blog, keep it coming.

Hey Cyndy,
Congrats on your 5 years of blogging. Your blog was one of the first I started reading and have been hooked ever since. I just love everything you do. I have learned a ton from you and I very much appreciate it. Your diy’s are always great.
I look very forward to your future and would love to see some of your art work for sale. You have also made some adorable jewelry but home décor is always my favorite.
Take care

Thank you so much for all the time, ideas, & energy you put into the blog! It is so helpful to so many, and always great eye candy.
Our bathroom reno turned into a whole house gut job this past year, and your posts helped me so much with choosing colors for the house, ideas for organization and design, etc. I still enjoy your posts even now that the house is (almost) done- can’t wait to see what you will share next!
Cyndy says
