Happy Friday friends! Yay!! The weekend is finally here!
For those of you who happened to miss Monday’s post, I shared my top 10 all-time most popular DIY projects here to celebrate The Creativity Exchange’s 5 year blogiversary. I thought I would do another top 10 post but today, I wanted to pull together the most popular paint techniques and tips for furniture/accessory revamp projects from the last 5 years. I love the idea of having the best paint tutorials on one post for you guys to reference whenever you have a revamp project.
The #1 paint/technique post is a post that I do every year, where I update the specific types of paints that I like to use for DIY/craft projects and I link to past tutorials for exactly how I use them (i.e., painting on plastic, metal, glass, etc..). I have tried almost every paint imaginable and I love to share my favorites to save you guys money/time from having to learn what works and does not.
Here is the #1 paint post:

Cindy! Your site is amazing! We just sold our condo and moved into a smaller but amazing and modern condo in a sky rise (translation) we are now my new fabulous place and transition furniture must be updated as economically as possible. I’m using all your wonderful tips to revamp my baskets, coffee tables and bedroom by adding in grey, metallic gold, and metallic silver. I was wondering if you would be open to a suggestion or “help me” blog where readers can submit images and you give us your ideas on revamping the pieces or space.

Thank you so much Chasity or your note! I’m thrilled to hear that my posts are helping you transition. I have been kicking around the idea of doing a question/answer post every now and then. I have been trying to figure out the easiest way to set it up and I just love the idea. Your note confirms that I think people would respond and submit questions. Stay tuned and hopefully I will start something very shortly.
Thank you again so much for your note Chasity!
