Christmas at Layered Home Design Center

I’m so excited about today’s post as it has been a long time coming and months of planning! It’s our first Christmas at Layered Home Design Center in Lufkin, Texas! I’ve spent several weeks styling and we are finally all decked out and ready for Christmas and I am so excited to share it all with you guys today!

 

For those of you who don’t know, I have been working the last year and a half with Layered Home Design Center in Lufkin styling and curating the furniture, lighting and home decor side of the center. It’s been so fun transforming the store into something really unique (and so needed in our smaller community).  The design center also has beautiful flooring, tile and rugs. Our goal was to offer everything one could need for remodeling or building all under one roof!

The best part of what we have created at Layered Home is anyone in the country can shop Layered online here and today I will be sharing my favorite Christmas decor and gifts along with the links to purchase and we’ll ship it out right away to you! On to the Christmas tour of Layered Home!

As you walk into Layered, you would immediately see our main seasonal table that I styled with soft off white beautiful bottle brush trees, bleached wood cutting boards and bowls along mixed with metallic textures.

I love these light and airy colors for Christmas along with the bleached out wood accents! Such a pretty combination and when I was doing buying back in February, I couldn’t wait to do this table!

Our Layered Home signature candle (above) smells AMAZING! We created our own Layered scent that everyone who walks in the store comments on and loves! The Layered candle is the prettiest combination amber, sage and musk and it comes in a beautiful white vessel. The smell is light and so dreamy! I can’t get enough of the smell!

One of my favorite ornaments in the store right now are these pretty paper mache black and white balls. They look so pretty mixed in a tree with whites and greens!

I’m also loving these stunning silver and white large 7″ Santa ornaments. The details on these ornaments are absolutely amazing!

I had so much fun making the centerpiece for our seasonal table with our 20″ tall white jug/bottle.

I’m using a lot of vintage velvet ribbon this year and I love making it simple and pretty and just tying bows around bottles and jugs. So easy!

As we move into the next section in the store, I decided to do a woodland mix tree with the most beautiful black and white silk ribbon, frosted eucalyptus greenery, HUGE sugar pinecones and a mix of Christmas balls. This combination is my favorite in the store.

I love our back section at Layered that has a mix of black, white and gold. So many fun gift ideas that we packed into this area!

One of my favorite styling pieces throughout the whole store is this white compote that I use all the time for my clients. I use it on coffee tables as a seasonal styling bowl and my clients switch out filler for the season.

Here’s a picture below showing you how I style this beautiful bowl for Christmas for my clients.

 

We also did a beautiful metallic tree (front tree) and a blue gray tree in our pretty blue room.

We created a pretty “pre-wrapped” gift table in the middle of our store that has been very popular!

By the way, those raised dot trays above are a bestseller at Layered Home! They come in two sizes; small and large. Our customers love them because their so pretty and there are so many uses! There is also a large round raised dot tray as well (see picture below):

As you can see, there is A LOT of fun Christmas decor and gift ideas at Layered! It’s really been such a joy having the opportunity to work with the awesome Layered team and get to style this beautiful design center for the holidays!
