Happy 2016 friends!! Well, I can’t think of a better way to kick off the new year by highlighting an amazing artist that is so inspiring and talented. Today’s Artist Spotlight we’re highlighting Christina Baker.
Christina’s art is featured on our free printable 2016 artist collaboration calendar that I shared last week here and she is kicking us off for January:
Christina is the first artist I connected with on Instagram and following along with her creative journey and seeing her beautiful work has truly been such a joy for me. Her art really speaks to me and her color mixes just bring a serenity.
Christina’s work is full of life yet usually leads the viewer into a soothing serene journey. Creating playful shapes with romantic undertones, she loves the combination of both rich and neutral colors combined. Christina is looking forward to furthering her exploration into the world of abstracts in the coming years by experimenting with new color combinations and compositions.
Here are a few of my favorites from Christina;
Christina’s work is a favorite with interior designers because of her use of serene color combination and as you will see, her work just looks absolutely amazing in any space.

Dear Cyndy, Hello from Australia. I have enjoyed looking through your blog and seeing the works of Christina Baker. I would love to have one on my wall. Do you know if there are prints of works such as Quietly Awake available to those of us without big budgets ? I have not been able to find any on line and would appreciate help. Thank you and keep up your creativity the world needs more.
Regards Joanna.
