The are so many gorgeous wallpapers out right now and I wanted to do a round-up of some of my favorites to tempt you guys. I’m beyond tempted and have been on wallpaper roll (ha!) for the last few months in my home and as I look at some of these gorgeous new papers, I can tell ya that I’m gonna keep rolling…
Over the last couple of years, wallpaper has made a huge comeback. I guess it never really went out for me and I have always loved a bold paper in small powder room, accent wall and in bookshelves. I know some people just cringe at the thought of paper and won’t even consider it but it really is such a great way to incorporate a pop of pattern and color into a space.
I recently papered an accent wall in my entryway with Candace Olson’s Inspired Elegance Diva Paper
The bold pattern on the main focal wall was the exact pop that I wanted to add and I love how it turned out. However, this paper was no my first choice. The Schumacher Malaga wallpaper in Graphite was my first choice but at the time, it was on back order everywhere I checked for 8 weeks. Of course, I needed the paper immediately, otherwise I would have waited but it’s still my favorite paper right now.
Here was my first choice- Schumacher Malaga Wallpaper in Graphite:
I have actually used the Malaga paper before in the back of my kitchen bookshelf but in silver:
I ran across another paper from Schumacher that I haven’t seen before that stopped me in my tracks called “Queen of Spain“. It comes in silver and black:
Yep, love it and could see in a small powder room, on an accent wall or in the back of some shelves. Of course, this pattern comes in fabric as well. So gorgeous!
I also have a big crush right now on Schumacher’s Modern Trellis paper with the hint of metallic. Here it is in charcoal:
Schumacher Modern Trellis in Silver:
I love the Modern Trellis because I could see doing a whole room in this paper because it’s not too bold and has that hint of metallic but pretty solid colors. This paper comes in four colorways.
I have also loved this Schumacher Kasari Ikat because it also has a little bit of everything. I bet these papers are amazing in person with that metallic:
Oh yea, I could go on and on with all of the papers that are tempting me right now and Schumacher gets me every time with these gorgeous patterns and colors. If you want more inspiration on some other great papers, I have a Wallpaper Love Board on Pinterest here with a little bit of everything.
Can you see yourself using any of these papers? I’m really leaning towards really trying to find a spot for the black Queen of Spain somewhere. Maybe at the end of my long hallway or in some shelves. It’s calling me!
Thanks for stopping by guys!!

I still love Wallpaper – we just finished putting up a gorgie paper in our master bath. It has a hint of metallic in it and we just love it.

Hi! Love all of your posts! I’ve been looking for a great wallpaper for our powder room..the Schumacher ‘queen of Spain’ was perfect when I spotted it here. But it’s muy expensivo!! And most of the websites I found it on require a 12 roll minimum order!! Where so you buy your wallpaper? Thanks!!
Cyndy says
Wow!! I had no clue that it was a 12 roll minimum! Oh no.. I wonder if it’s because it just came out or something. I’m sorry, I just checked all of my sources and you are right. I wonder if after a period of time it will be allowed to be sold individually. I’ll check with some of my decorator friends and find out why they do this and what they do. I’ll let you know what I find out.. That’s crazy!

You’re the best! Thanks!

Love your posts!!! I have recently moved and am looking at the Malaga paper in silver for my bookcases. Can you tell me what color your kitchen bookshelf is – it appears to be a subtle gray and I LOVE it.
Thanks,
Kelly

Hi!! I am obsessed with the Queen of Spain and I want it for my powder bath. However, I think I need 150-200 sq ft, unless I am measuring incorrectly, and when I try to order it the website (AllModern) says 200 sq ft will be over $20,000! This must be wrong, HELP!
