So my bedroom revamp continues… As I mentioned on Monday when I posted an update on how the revamp is going, all of the big decisions have been made and I have now moved on to finishes touches including accessories, wall art and table lamps {the fun part!}.
I personally think lamps are one of the most important design elements and key accessories that can do more to update a room than pretty much anything else, next to wall color. Maybe it’s just me but it’s always the first thing that I seem to notice when I look at a room.
Lamps are really the perfect opportunity to make a bold statement and reinforce a certain style that we’re trying to convey in the space and they can help us pull together a space. Whether it’s done by choosing a lamp in a bold contrasting color, a sleek metallic finish or via the lamp shape itself, the right lamp can really make a big impact in a room.
You don’t have to spend a fortune when it comes to lamps and some of the most beautiful lamps can be found for under $100.00 or less. I have been looking at hundreds of lamps for my bedroom the last couple of weeks and I thought I would share some of my favorites.
There is seriously no better deal out there than lamps from Kirkland’s. While it’s been hit or miss in the past, right now whoever is designing their lamps has hit a home run:
Kirkland’s Blue Glass Table Lamp $54.99
Kirkland’s Gold Fleck Table Lamp $59.00
Kirkland’s Ginko Table Lamp $49.00
Target has also really done an amazing job of offering fabulous lamps for less. I just love the lines of this antique brass table lamp from Target for $98.00:
Target Painted Ceramic Lamp with Gray Geometric Shade $49.00:
Overstock.com is another really great place to find inexpensive and beautiful lamps. This driftwood lamp for $86.00 from Overstock.com is one of my favorites:
If you’re looking for a large selection of beautiful clear glass lamps in various styles and height, be sure and check out Ikea. I love this inexpensive glass lamp from Ikea for only $59.00:
lastly, another great place to pick up a great lamp is from Ballard Designs. Their lamps are a little more expensive but if you can keep your eye out for a sale, you can get an excellent deal. I love these Suzanne Kasler small gourd lamps in various colors are on sale today for $99.00:
I’m not sure what my final choice will be for my bedroom but I think it’s a toss up between the Kirkland’s Gold Fleck lamp and another one that I have found at Target that is not on their website yet. I hope you’ve seen something here today that you like. So many fun choices that would be great in any space.
Thanks for hanging out with me today and I’ll be back on Friday for Friday Favorites. Have a fantastic day friends!
Cheers!

I really love the driftwood one too! I wish I had a spot for it. I never think to look at Overstock for lamps but they have such a great selection. Thanks so much Deb!
