I’m so excited about today’s post because I’m finally getting to share the modern Nantucket style home tour with you guys from this year’s 2019 Salt Lake Parade of Homes. This home is truly amazing and loaded with so many great design ideas that I know you guys will be just as inspired as I was walking through.
The Nantucket home was the talk of this year’s parade because it was so fresh and absolutely amazing! It was built by one of my all-time favorite Utah home builders Silverhawk Enterprises and designed by Heidi Ann Design. Silverhawk does some of the most innovative and fresh craftsmanship that I have ever seen when it comes to home building. It’s always such a special treat for me to see a Silverhawk home and visit with the owner Tom about the project.
So let’s jump into the home tour!
I must have spent 30 minutes taking in the exterior of the Nantucket home because there were so many mind blowing details that I kept having to look over and over because I would spot something new!
The mix of stone, shake and the architectural elements is absolutely stunning. Just look at those lines, curves and the architectural features!
The front door color is such a dreamy shade of blue mixed with the Sherwin Williams Repose Gray body.
I loved this pretty side door painted in the same blue as the front door. Just look at all the beautiful detailing!
The home is over 10,000 square feet and has five bedrooms and five baths. As you walk into the home, the floor plan is open with the living, dining and kitchen open to each other with tall ceilings. The main great room wall color is Benjamin Moore Simply White.
The oak floating shelves in the great room is such a beautiful contrast to the Benjamin Moore Simply White. Notice the cabinet door hardware. 🙂
The floors throughout the home are breathtaking! They are a solid white oak wide plank with an oil rub. Really beautiful in person!
The painted brick fireplace was just the right texture for the great room space. I saw a lot of painted brick fireplaces during this year’s tour. It’s such a great way to add a pop of texture change.
The great room is open to the large kitchen, which is absolutely magnificent! Talk about a dream kitchen!
The details and craftsmanship in this kitchen (and home) is such a joy for me to see. You don’t see this level of detail often in a new home. Silverhawk not only makes great use of this space but all the little touches like the shiplapped ceiling, to the flush cabinet fronts to the huge kitchen island is amazing! By the way, the island color is Farrow and Ball Downpipe.
I really loved the marble subway tile backsplash that goes to the ceiling.
The brass cabinet pulls on the lowers really dress up the cabinetry in the kitchen.
I also loved all of the custom cabinetry in the kitchen. There is so much storage and great use of this space including several kitchen display cabinets for china, crystal and serving pieces. Isn’t this cabinet beautiful?
Open to the left side of the kitchen is a beautiful large built-in banquette.
The laundry room is off the back of the kitchen and is also large and loaded with a lot of great storage. The cabinetry color is also Farrow and Ball Downpipe. Such a beautiful color!
Off of the great room/living room is a beautiful office with a dramatic cathedral shiplapped ceiling with oak beams. I love how Silverhawk always brings the drama when it comes to ceiling treatments.
The master bedroom is on the first floor just off of the office and is stunning! I love all of the natural lights and windows.
Throughout the upstairs of the home, there are endless beautiful and fresh design ideas that I was seriously drooling all of the way through. I really LOVED this bathroom tile mix of marble and penny black and white mosaic in the middle. Isn’t this such a creative idea?!
The vanity paint color is Benjamin Moore Cliffside, which is a really beautiful mid-toned gray.
The second floor walkway wall color is Benjamin Moore Stonington, which is one of my favorite neutrals.
There was a beautiful built-in window bench seating in one of the upstairs bedrooms that’s pretty amazing! So creative how they trimmed this area out and added shelves. What a wonderful spot to curl up and read a book.
Again, Benjamin Moore Stonington was carried through the upstairs bedrooms and this color is just the perfect neutral.
I can’t tell you just how much I loved every single detail in this home. Silverhawk continues to amaze and inspire me and it’s such a joy to visit with Tom about his projects and follow along with their new projects on Instagram here. If you live in the Utah area and are thinking about building or remodeling (they remodel too), I would HIGHLY recommend talking with Silverhawk Enterprises for sure!

Love the house. Question: Generally, when you buy a model home, does the price include the furnishings or
is it all just staging?
Robyn Badenhorst says
Absolutely a stunning home.

Thanks for all the information and pictures! You said they used Simply White for their white walls, do you know what their trim and shiplap color is?? They looked beautiful together and just a tad different. We are building and trying to figure out our Whites :). Thank you!!!
