I’m so excited to be kicking off a new monthly home tour series. Each month, I will be sharing a full home tour and highlighting some truly amazing builders, architects and interior designers. I have been wanting to do this for a long time and I decided to start the series heading into the new year.
Today’s home tour is a modern French country home design in Salt Lake City, Utah built by Elevation Homes. I toured this home while I was in Salt Lake for the Parade of Homes. It was home #16.
This home was really amazing and I especially loved the color palette, paint colors, the interior design and the beautiful mill work used creatively throughout the home. The level of detail in this home was really impressive and inspiring and I am so excited for you guys to see it.
On a side note, I ran across another Elevation home being built in another neighborhood that was not on the tour and I fell in love with the exterior. This home was a modern farmhouse design.
For the home tour below, I was able to get several of the paint colors for a few of the rooms and have listed them below the image.
As you enter the home, you immediately get a feel for what’s ahead in the home because off the entry was this gorgeous office painted in a beautiful rich dark color (Sherwin Williams Peppercorn). The trim on the wall added drama as does the shiplap vaulted ceiling.
The main living room was beautifully decorated and the three panel mirrors added to the walls below was one of the most creative design ideas that I saw on the tour. Hanging three identical mirrors like this is a great way to fill up a large wall and create a focal point.

The kitchen in this home was one of my favorites on the tour and was really well laid out.
I especially loved how the pantry was designed to be off the kitchen but still open as well. Such a smart idea!
The gray kitchen island was amazing and the cabinetry detail was beautiful.
The breakfast nook off the kitchen had a lot of space and I loved the shiplap ceiling.

The master bedroom in this home was stunning and the wall treatment on the wall is not wallpaper but actually molding/trim design! Can you believe that?! So beautiful.
The bed and bedding was gorgeous! I loved the cream mixed with the pop of teal.
The master bathroom was large and also very well designed and laid out. I thought the marble square tiles were absolutely stunning.
The powder room off of the main living room had a stunning modern wainscoting treatment that added drama mixed with the Sherwin Williams Peppercorn Walls.

I loved how the guest bedroom was decorated in this space. Really more like a teen room but the color combination was so pretty!
The downstairs of this home was huge and it was also very well designed and laid out.

The bar area was a great idea and I loved the floating shelves.
Benjamin Moore Collingwood looked beautiful on the wall mixed with the darker gray in the guest bathroom.
Wall Color is Benjamin Moore Collingwood
So many beautiful ideas in this home and details. If I lived in the Salt Lake City area, I would not hesitate to have Elevation Homes build my home. It’s not very often that I see homes built with this level of detail, creativity and function.
It was really a treat to see this modern French country home built by Elevation Homes. Look around their website for more homes and their portfolio!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Cheers!

Can someone tell me what the kitchen countertops are? And who makes it? Brand? Color? Material?
Also I would like to know what the backsplash is?
Does anyone know where the material was purchased from? Lowes? Etc….
Thank you
Cyndy says
I’m sorry but I do not have the sources on the countertops or backsplash. I do know the countertops are granite. Sorry.
Lynnette Hutchinson says
I believe the granite counters are called African Violet.
Kim says
Gorgeous! I’m drooling! Love everything about this beautiful home! Wish they built in Florida! ? Thank you for the tour, Cyndy!
Cyndy says
So glad that you like it Kim! Yes, I pretty much drooled all the way through touring the home! I have been researching a builder in Florida named Frey and Sons that does some incredible work. Also, Stock builders in the Naples area. They appear to be two inspiring home builders. I’m heading down there in a couple weeks and hope to tour some of their new construction. 🙂
Kim says
Yay! Hope the weather is wonderful while you are visiting! ? I have a son and daughter in law in Naples! It’s a beautiful area. We are on the other coast. I am definitely going to check out those builders and l look forward to seeing your home tour in Florida!
Lynnette Hutchinson says
I believe the granite is called African Violet. I almost bought them for my kitchen until I saw a granite from Brazil that I loved.
Cyndy says
Thank you so much for telling us the name! Brazilian granite? Now that sounds interesting! 😉

Cyndy thank you for always being my “go to” source for affirmation of a color I am considering or for inspiration and a great resources. I share you as a resource to as many as I can that are stuck in a pickle. Can you guess what color might be similar to the bathroom cabinet in the bathroom you shared with Collingwood . I think that steel blue would be beautiful on interior doors paired with the collingwood on the walls. Thanks !
Katie says
Do you know where they got the three identical mirrors from? Also the kitchen glass pendants?
