Greetings Creativity Exchange readers! It’s Amanda from Amanda Carol Interiors back with another contributor post.
Today, I’m sharing some of the latest design trends we are seeing in the Home Decor and Design industry and how natural elements are leading the trends in design.
While visiting High Point Market this past Spring, I was pleasantly surprised at all the things embellished with organic and natural elements. There was an array of furniture, lighting, and accessories embellished with stone, agate, bone, marble, onyx, petrified wood, concrete, you name it. Agate has been steadily growing in popularity and I do not see it slowing down anytime soon.
How fabulous is this purple agate wall sconce?
A gorgeous Agate and brass chandelier.
Agate was everywhere from lighting to accent tables to adorning the tops of decorative boxes.
Marble is another hot item. I love this geometric stacked marble lamp!
An intricate bone inlay side table in a herringbone pattern.
A great bowl for a coffee table in petrified wood.
This driftwood lamp would go great in a coastal design.
I fell in love with this concrete fluted lamp with a little gold accent. This sucker was heavy!!! It’s a perfect mix of masculine & feminine.
Fossils and quartz were displayed on acrylic boxes and stands for presence.
Want to add a little of this trend to your home? I’ve curated some fun pieces that you can incorporate into your own space:
I’d love to hear your thoughts on these natural elements, are you a fan? Stay tuned I will be headed to High Point Market in October and will be bringing you the latest & greatest in Home Decor. I will be posting sneak peeks on my Instagram. Follow along so you don’t miss it! Until next time! Cheers!!

Item #2 on the curated list is taking me to another blog with a blank entry, not to the vendor. Also #6 is just a photo, with no info on how to purchase.
I also love when we can bring nature into our decor. Thanks for sharing.
