Amherst Gray Benjamin Moore via Keeping it Cozy
Hi guys! It’s Creativity Exchange contributor Jenny from Evolution of Style here to tempt you with some beautiful front door paint colors today for Paint It Monday.
The weather is finally shaping up for spring, the perfect opportunity to give your home a quick refresh by painting the front door. There are so many beautiful options out there, it’s hard to know where to start.
I’m a visual person, so let me help in getting your creative wheels turning.
I love this fresh front door – such a nice contrast against the red brick. Great light fixture too. The color is Teal Ocean, by Benjamin Moore
Here is another eye popping front door in Blue Peacock by Sherwin Williams. Love this great pop of color against the neutral exterior, and it even works with the pretty purples in the landscaping.
Speaking of doors that coordinate with landscaping, I think this one was chosen for that very reason! Maybe they took some of those beautiful flowers in to the paint store and had them color matched. 😉
This door color is perfect for the style and age of the home, don’t you think? The color is Hazel by Sherwin Williams.
I’m a smitten kitten for this front door – not just the style, but the overall color palette (and those beautiful pups!). So crisp and fresh. Midnight Navy, Benjamin Moore.
Yellow front doors make me smile. So happy, welcoming and beautiful all at once. Benjamin Moore, Yellow Hibiscus.
I love a muted yellow just as much, don’t you? Sunbeam Yellow – Sherwin Williams.
How can you not love this dutch door? A bright pop of turquoise on the exterior, with a crisp white for the interior. Perfection. (Except I don’t know what the door color is.)
Another example of a fresh front door paired with some gorgeous contrasting flowers. Green and purple are one of my favorite spring color combinations. Agave, by Benjamin Moore.
Do you have a favorite front door color? All of these fresh colors leave me wondering if I should have restained my own front doors… Different looks, but both beautiful in their own way.
Hope you’ll stop by and visit me at Evolution of Style to say hello!

Beautiful doors. The landscaping and architecture add so much character and accentuate the doors. Much like jewelry adds to an outfit. Thanks for all the paint names. I will have lots to choose from when deciding to paint in my next home.

When we moved four years ago, I immediately saw that the front door needed a pop of color. I painted it a Caribbean blue – about halfway between a turquoise and a cobalt blue. So love it! Added a wreath I had made with fuchsia and orange flowers and ribbons, and surprisingly, it all works! Very bright and cheerful!

I love the Blue Peacock door! I’m wanting to paint our front door a vibrant blue like that and that color looks perfect!

Am I the only person with a front screen door? I realize for staging photos you might remove it, but for everyday? Regardless. I am planning to paint my door a really bright acid green this summer.

As a follow up to the wreath comment I just left…you just helped me pick my next weekend project and paint color! I’ve been wanting to paint our front door for years and Midnight Navy may end up being the winner. Top it off what that pretty wreath…curb appeal heaven!
