Thank you for visiting my blog!  I’m Cyndy and I started my blog as a hobby and creative outlet in 2010. I am wife to my amazing husband Pat and mother to my beautiful {and crafty} 8 year old daughter Bella.  

I have a passion for art and design and I am obsessed with the endless possibilities that creativity can bring to every aspect of our lives.  I love surrounding myself and my family with beautiful things that were made with our own hands and creativity.   I love to write and I find great joy in sharing and exchanging ideas, inspiration and encouragement with others.  My blog has truly turned into a “creativity exchange” thanks to my readers. 

 

 

 I have a passion for paint colors and color palettes and love helping people through the process of finding just the perfect color.  Choosing paint colors for your home should not be agonizing or technical but rather fun and creative.  If you eliminate tones and shades that you do not like, your perfect paint color will always jump out at you.   I can’t remember where I left my keys each day but I never forget a paint color, it’s undertone and it’s name.

My hobby is decorating my home using high-end design/decorating ideas and recreating it for a lot less. I’m obsessed with great design but don’t enjoy paying the great design price.  I will pretty much go to any length to “craft-gineer” a fabulous decorating idea without spending a fortune.  Sometimes my crazy ideas work (those are the projects you get to see) and sometimes the ideas don’t work (those are the projects only my family gets to see!)…

 

 

 

I love to share easy tutorials, paint color inspiration and tips, design ideas and organizational ideas. Every now and then I share craft ideas, easy gift projects and I’ll throw in a recipe just for fun!
